After the ACS approved, we could continue with the next step: the actual application.
We applied for a skilled independent (Class BN, subclass 136) ASCO code 2231-11.

To apply for the visa we had to fill out the 47SK form. Included were documents like the skills assessment and letter of approval from the ACS, reference letters of current and former employers, a resume, results of the IELTS test (International English Language Testing System), certified copies of our passports, international birth certificates for the four of us, an international marriage certificate, recent passport photo's, a recent pay slip and a lot more. Of course everything, when in Dutch, had to be translated and certified.

The medical checks and the police checks were sent upon request.
